General Manager for Superb Hotel and Restaurant £35000

Clear Selection is currently seeking applicants for the vacancy of General Manager for a special 20 Bedroom Hotel with Terrace, Bar and Award wining Restaurant.
This is a true General Manager post reporting directly to a Managing Director rather than work from orders from Head Office or a Regional GM.
Duties will include
Managing Budgets
Controlling Expenditure
Promoting the Business
Analysing Sales and Marketing
Recruiting and Training Staff
Hosting the Establishment
Overseeing Suppliers and Renovations
Ensuring the High Standards are Maintained
Liasing with the Head Chef
Professionally Organising a Team of 30
This General Manager post will require a professional approach, a person who will take a strategic overview having the ability to plan ahead, increase profit without compromising on the service. The ability to successfully people manage will also be a useful attribute.
We would envisage that you would have similar experience, have extensive knowledge of food and beverage and also experience within the quality sector of the Small Hotel market.
