We are looking for a first class Management Couple to run The Fisherman’s Inn. The pub is situated at Burgh Castle Marina, a privately owned and operated Holiday Business in beautiful surroundings and settings in Norfolk.
The Venue:
The venue is located in a beautiful part of Norfolk. It is situated on the River Waveney with brilliant views of the surrounding countryside. The property has recently been refurbished and will have all modern and new equipment. The pub comprises of a Main Bar, 50 Cover Restaurant, Children’s Play room, well equipped kitchen and cool room, stockroom and office. The trade and business is built from a strong blend of holiday makers and walk in trade from the village and surrounding areas.
Accommodation:
The accommodation supplied for the live in Management Couple is a separate 3 Bedroom single storey Cottage adjacent to the property.
The Management Couples Responsibilities and requirements:
We are seeking a professional Management Couple who have both got a solid background in Hospitality and Catering that combines Chef experience to a high standard and proven Front of House Management experience. Therefore the ideal couple will have one who is kitchen based with a kitchen background and one who will be Front of House with a management background. You will work alongside the owners in developing the existing business and clientele and generating future custom. You will be required to create and maintain an emphasis on restaurant dining along with bar meals/snacks and a solid wet trade. You will be required to source local suppliers and use fresh produce where possible. You will need to have a proven track record at similar level with a solid CV. This position would not suit a couple who have ‘jumpy’ CV’s. You will be in charge of wage costs, budget control, stock control, forecasting, profit and loss reports, recruiting, training and developing staff and all health and safety.

The Package:
Salary of £31,000
3 Bedroom Cottage – Rent free
Food allowance
Bonus scheme
Four weeks holiday plus days in Lieu for all Bank Holidays worked.
