Junior Sous Chef - Country House Hotel - Lake District - £18,000

Our client is looking for a professional and talented Junior Sous Chef for their fantastic Country House Hotel.

As Junior Sous Chef you be required to work within this award winning property producing the finest cuisine in the area. You will be using the very best locally sourced and seasonal ingredients.

This property is highly accredited with numerous awards. They currently hold Two Rosette for food and service and are looking to push this to Three. All products made in-house from breads to desserts so you will need to have a solid experience in working with this.

As Junior Sous Chef you will be working with a very talented and experienced Head Chef. You will need to have the ability to deputise in his absence with strong leadership and man management skills. Motivation techniques and a calm approach to work are essential for the restaurants success.

You will need to have an understanding of current legislation for health, hygiene and food safety controls are essential.

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience within a Two Rosette establishment. You will ideally have a proven track record at this level and stature.

This Junior Sous Chef position offers live in, an attractive salary and great training and development.
