General Manager – Gastro Pub/Restaurant – Buckinghamshire - £37,000 package – January start.

This is a unique opportunity for a General Manager to join one of the regions most well known and respected group of Gastro Pubs.
This type of position does not come along very often so you will need to be one of the best General Managers in the industry in order to get this job.
As General Manager you will need:
To have a first class background within busy Gastro Pubs or Restaurants.
Have sound financial acumen with a good understanding of P & L.
The ability to effectively lead a team forward to provide an innovative service.
A strong managerial presence.
A confident and out-going personality.
A calm and pro-active approach to work.
Experience with 100 per cent fresh food operations.
An up to date knowledge of all health and safety and related legislation’s.
Experience with having full accountability of an operation.
Marketing, promotion and advertising experience.
A forward thinking and intelligent approach to developing business.
To be a hungry manager on your way up in your career.
To be capable of managing a £30k week operation.
This role will not suit a General Manager who is:
On the way down in their career, we need a candidate who is fresh, vibrant and hungry for progression.
Constantly watching the clock to see what time they will be finishing.
Not passionate about fresh food and service.
Office bound managers afraid of being on the floor.
