WINTER SEASON 2009 TO 2010 - SKI CHALET COUPLE – FRANCE

One of our over seas clients is now on the look out for a couple who are looking to escape the dull English whether for the white ski slopes of the French Alps. This position is only available to applicants that are professional, organised, easy going individuals who are always self-motivated hard working.

The positions that are available are for a Chef and a Chalet Host so experience in these types of positions either from previous winter seasons or from the UK who be a massive benefit.

This isn’t a ‘do no work and get paid for it’ job, as you can see by your main responsibilities below. However if you organise a good, structure routine in your chalet each week you will have the chance to hit the slopes for quite a few hours a day.
Responsibilities
 Ensure all guests receive the holiday as promised, to the high standard of the company and paying personal attention to guests needs.
 Be flexible within in your role to ensure guests happiness.
 Provide and serve breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés and a three course evening meal to guests 6 days a week.
 Clean the chalet on a daily basis.
 Ensure the outside of the chalet is clear of obstacles snow and ice and as clean as possible.
 Prepare shopping lists and carry out weekly shops for provisions.
 Perform a welcome speech to guests.
 Be happy and amenable to guests and fellow staff at all times.
 Aim to anticipate the guest wants and needs and always be willing to go the extra mile for them.
 Help guests with luggage.
 Always be clean and presentable.
 Escort guests to and from the transfer bus on change over day in full uniform.
 Adhere to all health and safety guidelines regarding the storage, preparation and cooking of food at all times.

The name of the game for doing a season is to have fun, make new friends and to hit the slopes everyday for up to six months for FREE, so the salary package isn’t huge but it does come with massive benefits as you can see below:
