Chef Manager Small Quality Unit Suffolk £20-22k

Rare one this- privately owned catering unit- simple hours (mostly days)- small numbers- fresh food. A great chance to cook decent food but leave the long hours and weekends behind. Our retained clients are seeking to appoint a new Chef Manager to oversee the kitchen and catering operation within this small unit catering for approx. 50 covers per day.

The operation situated close to Ipswich is seeking an even-tempered professional with an excellent track record and sound all round skills.

You will be in overall control of the unit and be required to menu plan, train and motivate your team and also oversee the upkeep of the kitchen. You must fully understand current kitchen regulations and adopt a methodical approach to your work and be prepared to meet Senior Managers and HR for weekly updates.

The Chef Manager vacancy offers you an opportunity to create your ideas which could enhance the service offered and may suit either a Sous Chef looking for their first role or a Chef Manager looking to move forward
